Projects as a Woodbury student
If I were to attend Woodbury University, I would probably want to try the Hyperloop project. This project is focused on the technology of transporting objects at a very high speed, by using circular objects. According to the article, it is a global impact, and the government hopes to use these circular objects to transfer other important materials such as medicine or other useful things. The article also states that it only takes 20 minutes to transfer these items, unlike those who take weeks, or months. There wasn't much information on this project, but learning how future technology works is interesting to me. Seeing how the world is slowly improving in technology is interesting. Almost 20-30 years ago, we needed wires and antenas to make a call to people, and we needed separate cameras to take pictures. Now, we have that all in one device, even with bluetooth! It amazes me that the college people were able to constuct the circular objects and make transportation so much easier.
The website literally had no information on any projects, it only had pictures. If there was a project that would be ideal for me, it world probably be to design some sort of building style that no one would ever think of. Have you ever noticed that a majority of the buildings look the same? They are all tall rectangles. What if we tried something new, like triangle buildings, or hexagon buildings? I know it probably sounds ridiculous, but it would be really cool to see something different. To be honest, I'm open to anything new, so I would like to try any project, just as long as it's not group work, then I'm fine. I hate groups. I usually do 99% of the work, and I hate those slackers that say they will get stuff done, but never do anything.
Opportunities with life and architecture
I think being an architect can be a extraordinary experience because you are creating a design that's suitable for yourself, and others. It's a way to collaborate with your peers about your ideas, and how you can incorporate them into others ideas to make something entirely new. It's also cool to see unique buildings like the one shown below. It's not real, but seeing that in real life is pretty cool. You can get so many jobs just by being an architect. You are the future of building designs, and society's expectations for modern cities.
